K: This is the beach that Lani and I decided to have a go at our formal pictures. There was a very steep embankment to get to the beach. And in the shade of the canyon, it was bloody cold. The beach sand was even colder. And the stone felt like one big ice cube. People were very inquistive of our little adventure as they passed by on the trail above.

L: One couple thought we were doing a commercial, and another with a young boy excitedly suggested calling a news crew on us.
And to reiterate, that rock was freaking COLD.

K: This is the Burro Mesa Pouroff Trail. We needed a pretty short hike that was along our drive back so we hit up this one. Pretty nice but I wouldn't recommend.

L: The sky was the deepest blue I can remember seeing in a very long time.

L: This is the Burro Mesa Pouroff. Although dry now, the deep channel shows how much water once flowed through there.
